Travelodge by Wyndham Fort Lauderdale

Great location, comfortable beds, needs a few tweaks. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms. Very affordable for a night or two. My room had brand new furniture, comfortable desk and lounge chairs. Wall mounted A/C. Hair dryer with night light in bathroom and curved shower rod were nice touches. Mini fridge, microwave, clock radio and TV. Very fast free wifi. No in room safe (some rooms are supposed to have them), or iron and ironing board in my room. Very nice basic continental breakfast, bagels, muffins juice, cereals, coffee and tea. Postage stamp sized pool with brand new deck furniture. On my visit, the elevator was out of order, so seniors and disabled should book ground floor. Some rooms facing Sunrise could be noisier than others.

i enjoyed my stay here. this is a clean property and very convenient to shopping centers and beaches. Complimentary wifi speed is ok, but not fast..The plus are: the housekeeping is provided free of charge, mini fridge and microwave in good working condition, the bath tub is ok, not too big, not too small..But the parking is very small..Overall, it was an ok stay...definitely be back upon my next visit to Florida. Thanks to all the staff in TRAVELODGE FORT LAUDERDALE for their excellent customer service and hardwork.

I have stayed here several times and the have always given prompt service and always feel safe there because they watch the parkinglot. Good for them. They also remodeled the rooms and they look much nicer. No more carpet. If you want a nice relaxing room this is the place. If you want trashy service and trashy people stay at the link. Update::: The link is now closed and this place is busy with all types of people wanting a vacation from their everyday life. The family running it is on point . I will miss staying here . One last thing the cleaning crew is very respectful , hard working and never did I find anything to unclean or dirty. I never saw one roach and I have been here many times. I don't understand all the disrespect on these reviews. It kinda feels a bit racist if you ask me. They are very lovely.

I RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY! Generally, I've found that, most hotels that offer both smoking and non smoking rooms, don't give as much care to their smoking rooms, as they do their non smoking rooms. NOT TRAVELODGE, in east Sunrise Blvd!! They understand that regardless of the room type, they will maintain their standards! The room in the video is a smoking room. It was so clean, that there was NO SMOKE SMELL, at all! Outstanding housekeepers!!! I'm not sure if the man at the front desk is the owner, but he is very polite and welcoming. He makes you feel like a valued guest!. If you're not the type that likes climbing stairs, you may have an issue, because there's no elevator. And, by it being on a very busy street, you may hear the traffic. But, overall, it's a great budget hotel, in a prime location, if you need an extended stay!

Very nice for an old motel. Prices in Fort Lauderdale are up and the price at this place varies widely. They have remodeled the rooms beyond what I expected. Continental breakfast so-so . Great location.

Budget friendly. I stay 2-3 times a month to avoid driving in traffic. Pros: cheap stay, rooms have been clean, staff friendly, beds are comfy enough, hangers for clothes. Theres a small fridge, AC, microwave and safe, has flat screen Samsung TV, Cons: poor lightening unless you open the curtain for the balcony to see you, cable service is terrible due to old cables, lack of spots to charge devices. Overall for a short stay I give it 4 stars. If you're doing an extended stay or are a tourist I would look towards a newer spot.

It's not the newest deco, or prettiest rooms. But the price and omg the bed was so comfortable. I was good with dash of ugly going on. The cleaning ladies don't speak much English but they were so very kind. The dude at the desk , he was alright better than the woman. At least he showed some personality. I rented a car but walked a lot of different places . It was my first time in fort Lauderdale, don't know much about it. I was out in the evening not the day. Getting around by foot is the way to go . Traffic is terrible . But the Travelodge would be a smart move if you want to have more cash in your pocket and not someone else's hand.
